Features a review of William Lack, Nigel Saul and Philip Whittemore (eds), Monumental brasses in St. Mary Magdalene, Cobham, Kent (Monumental Brass Society, 1998). The book includes a chapter on the brasses of the de Cobham family. Smith also reports on a study day sponsored by the Monumental Brass Society which was devoted to the exploration of brasses throughout the town.
