Abstract (en)

Four helmets, associated with specific funerary monuments in the church at Cobham are extant: two of the early 15th c., and two of the 16th c. The earlier helmets were made in England, the other two on the continent. (Replicas are on view in the church; the originals in a museum in Leeds).
