- The structure known as the Schrägbau or Parlatorium adjacent to the enclosure of the Maulbronn Cistercian monastery was built ca.1500. The lower floor functioned as a Marian chapel, the upper floor as the library. Describes the decorations (including bosses and consoles of the upper floor, and a fresco of the Madonna and Child with two clerics on the east wall of the chapel), and lists the masons' marks. Notes similarities with the architecture of the infirmary.
