On the urban and architectural history (1930s-1965) of the EUR quarter in Rome, planned (late 1930s) by the Fascist regime as the site of the 1942 Esposizione Universale di Roma. Includes interviews with architects (Augusto Baccin, Claudio Longo, Davide Pacanowski, Giulio Pediconi, Guido Marinucci, Giorgio Biuso and Giorgio Calza Bini) who contributed to the realization of the quarter, and a catalogue of architectural competitions and projects (1937-1941). Includes an historical chronology, 1935-1965.
