Reviews a collection of essays (various authors) on the Monastero della Visitazione (originally called the Monastero delle Grazie) in Vercelli. Subjects treated include archaeological materials (Antiquity-Early Middle Ages) retrieved during excavations, the art and architecture (15th-17th cs.) of the monastery (built late 15th c.), the urbanism (Antiquity-15th c.) and the pottery (Medieval-15th c.) of Vercelli.
