Surveys the construction, decoration and conservation history (15th-20th cs.) of the church of SS. Pietro e Paolo, Olina (province of Modena). Notes that renovations in the 1950s entailed the destruction or alteration of 17th-18th-c. architectural elements and decoration. Examines 17th-18th-c. works of art (altarpieces, wooden frames, altars) and reports on their restoration (1997-2002). Artists whose paintings are found in the church include members of the Magnanini family.
