Abstract
(en)
Submits that the study of documentary evidence, including financial accounts, inventories, and court and coroners' rolls, is useful in what it can reveal about the provision and cost of military equipment for troops. Evidence can also be gleaned on the technical evolution of armor, and the composition of military equipment for the individual combatant.
