Discusses Latino urban culture in the American southwest, focusing on the devotion of Mexican migrants and immigrants in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico to their rural Mexican homeland. Comments on their attachment to their home villages as expressed in their house façade murals, mortuaries, folk music, and acequias, or traditional ditch irrigation.
