Abstract (en)

Reviews two exhibitions of the work of Barbara Hepworth on the occasion of the centenary of her birth (Tate St Ives, to 12 Oct 2003 and West Bretton, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, to 14 Sept 2003). Both feature her abstract sculpture, but the former also includes drawings and paintings, while the latter is limited to her late bronze sculpture.
