Records the results of the excavation of Bronze Age and Anglo-Saxon cemeteries at The Bostle, which investigated all archaeological features including graves and potential cremation-related deposits. Three Saxon ring-ditches surrounded central graves containing the remains of inhumation burials. Evidence suggests that at least one of the latter was coffined (radiocarbon dated to between 640-879), and one shrouded. The temporal and spatial extent of The Bostle cemeteries has been shown to be greater than was previously thought.
