Discusses the life of the New Zealand photographer, focusing on the Kershaw Collection of photographs (Dunedin, Hocken Library), which falls into two groups: his photographs of Dunedin residents in everyday situations from the late 1960s to the mid- 1970s and his portraits dating from the 1950s.
