Discusses the public art on display in Christchurch on the occasion of SCAPE or the Art and Industry Biennial 2002. Comments on video installations and sculptures, which reflect both Maori and colonial traditions, set up at various sites within the city. Among the artists featured are Ani O'Neill, Kathleen Herbert, and Nathan Pohio.
