Discusses international contemporary art on display at various locations within Sydney on the occasion of the Sydney Biennale (4 June-15 Aug 2004). The exhibition, which showcased 51 chiefly installation and video artists from 32 countries, focused on the use of reason and emotion to express commentaries on a range of ideas including globalism, social activism, post-feminism, femininity, and discontent.
