Discusses the sense of transience in the architectural collages of Lindsey Kirk, focusing on her depiction of historic buildings in Napier and Auckland. Comments on Kirk's use of a variety of materials such as wallpaper, digital imaging, handmade paper, wax, frottage drawing, pressed metal, and cast plaster to create her images of town and landscape.
