Abstract (en)

Studies the allegorical iconographic program and neo-classical style of the sculpture (i.e., facade acroteria, fountains, portrait busts, commemorative monuments, etc.) commissioned by Pasquale Revoltella for his new palace in Trieste (architect: Friedrich Hitzig; now Civico museo Revoltella). The sculpture was carried out 1860s by Francesco Bosa, Pietro Magni, Giuseppe Livi, Luigi Ferrari, and others.
