Abstract (en)

Describes the enormously costly refurbishing, reopening, and upcoming plans of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow, which has now doubled its objects on display. Applauds the redisplay, including the controversial low painting hangings, intended to encourage longer viewing sessions among visitors but criticized by some as undignified (for the artwork).
