Discusses the exhibition and Artist in Residence project Out of use (Montreal, Musée d'art contemporain, 28 Aug-20 Oct 2002), which featured the culmination of video-recorded material by the artist-filmmaker and members of the urban community asked to donate their video cameras and record themselves describing their final uses of the out-dated technology. The Cinémathèque Québécoise coordinated a related Egoyan retrospective.
