Reviews the exhibition Don Quijote (Rotterdam, Witte de With, through 6 Aug 2006), the inaugural exhibition for new director Nicolaus Schafhausen, which presents films, photographs, installations, and paintings from 22 artists dealing with quixotic themes of idealism, love, luck, loneliness, doubt, and impossibility. Claims the exhibition is too loud, limiting the potential for concentration and lasting impressions.
