On the occasion of a series of exhibitions focusing on contemporary German painting following Detuschemalereizweitausendrei (Frankfurt am Main, Kunstverein, 2003), records the opinions of Jörg Heiser, Antje Majewski, Raimar Stange, Elke Buhr, Anke Kempkes, and Ralph Wernicke regarding the return to figurative art apparent in the contemporary German art scene.
