Abstract (en)
Identifies the Ca' Zulian in Venice as the original location of four ceiling paintings attributed to Antonio Guardi, rather than the Palazzo Suppiei as is widely accepted (their current location is the Palazzo Loredan-Cini in Venice). Reconstructs the placement of the paintings representing Aurora, Vulcan, Neptune, and Cybele. A fifth painting, the pendant to Cybele, is missing. Two small oval pendants, representing Diana and Apollo, are identified as belonging to the cycle (current location unknown).
