In response to the exhibition Posada y la presna ilustrada: signos de modernización y resistencias (Mexico City, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, July-Oct 1996), studies one of Posada's best-known prints, the Continuación de las manifestaciones anti-reeleccionistas, published in May 1892 in the Gaceta Callejera. The print depicts the violence that occurred between those who opposed and those who supported the fourth consecutive reelection of Porfirio Díaz.
