Abstract (en)

An initial report on the results of the 1998-1999 excavation of an historic dump in the center of Rome (near the via Giulia) that revealed the foundations of Roman buildings reused during the late Middle Ages, and 14th-16th-c. glazed and unglazed pottery. Among the latter were majolica and slip-coated earthenware jugs.
