Provides a biographical summary for Puccio di Simone, observing that he was admitted ca.1346-1348 to the Arte de' medici e degli speziali, Florence, that a painting (S. Anthony Abbot, Fabriano, Pinacoteca civica Bruno Molajoli) is dated 1353, and that he is listed in a register (1357) of members of the Compagnia di S. Luca in Florence. Also presents information on the provenance and history of two panels now in the Galleria dell'Accademia, Florence: the polyptych Madonna of Humility with Saints and the S. Matthew Triptych.
