Abstract (en)

Italian and Spanish religious paintings (chiefly on the theme of the Crucifixion and other Passion episodes; 1930s-1980s) from the collection of the Paglione family, who plan to donate the works to the Museo pinacoteca Santa Casa, Loreto. Artists include Aligi Sassu, Lino Perissinotti, and José Ortega. Appendix: an anthology of criticism.
