Presents 228 catalogue entries for 16th-c. Italian Renaissance architectural drawings (Florence, Galleria degli Uffizi, Gabinetto disegni e stampe) by Donato Bramante, the Sangallo family, Giovanni Antonio Dosio and his shop, Jacopo Sansovino, Cigoli, and others. The works, organized in bound volumes, are from the collection of Heinrich von Geymüller, and were sold to the Uffizi in 1907. Features J. Ploder's essay "La figura di Heinrich von Geymüller (1839-1909), studioso e collezionista, nella ricerca storica" on Geymüller's career, scholarship, and activity as a collector, with a focus on the formation and content of his collection of Italian Renaissance architectural drawings now in the Uffizi. Includes prefaces by Antonio Paolucci and Marzia Faietti.
